Wolf’s Head & Vixen Morris are a Border Morris side - arguably the most primitive and exhilarating of the morris dancing styles. Border Morris is traditionally distinguished by the tattered rag jackets, use of sticks, and guising of the dancers. Wolf’s Head & Vixen dress all in black, and dance to a variety of traditional and selfpenned tunes which powers their original dances with a Gothic feel and a mesmerising drumbeat.

We danced the sun up at Beltane…

Now it’s time to let the summer end and welcome the winter nights.

Join Wolfshead and Vixen and friends for an afternoon of dance, drums, and duskfire — as the light fades and the year turns once more.

Dancing, dusking ritual followed by a drink, singing, and music session at The Robin Hood Pub

Come dressed in tatters, boots, and spirit — and help us dance the dusk down.
