Weekly Practice and a Special Milestone for Rachel

A cooler practice on Wednesday, but still very warm when dancing. Vixen's practiced 'Jacky Tar' and 'Vixen's Revenge' as well as Vixen Foreperson Emma teaching a couple of the dancers 'Calan Mai' and 'Frenchie'. Wolf’s Head practiced 'Mrs Widgery's Lodger' and 'Herne's Favour'. We practice every Wednesday throughout the year as we really like to perfect every detail and as our dances are quite fast and complex we like to make sure everyone feels confident with their performance. We also celebrated a major milestone in Vixen Rachel's breast cancer journey-she has finished all her treatment! We are so proud of Rachel, she and her partner Ian are such an integral part of the side. On that note a reminder to support our Macmillan Breast Cancer Charity fundraiser by purchasing one of our WH&V pink ribbons and/or joining us on Sunday 11th October for our charity afternoon tea at The Bohemian, Old Rochester High Street.
