Raffles, Recruitment and Wednesday Practice!

As the season comes to an end, with only few events left to go we start making plans for the next year and recruiting new members

This week Rachel, Mel and Neil collected up items from all the lovely businesses that have donated to our raffle ready for our Macmillan charity event this Sunday.

We also started advertising our open practice session on 15th November for potential new members to come along and have a go.

We are honing our plans for Dusking on the 1st November and advertising in the local media.

Wednesday practice this week was a quiet one as quite a few couldn't make it (the lurgy had got some us!) and so it was only a couple of Vixens practising. Angela and Mel practiced 'Vixen's Revenge' refining the sharp turns and back to back. Alice and Mell practiced 'Beltanes Return'. The drummers (Ian, Rachel and Neil) drummed! And everyone had a good gossip and natter.
